Summary Description

Stadium Capital Financing Group (“SCFG”) has developed a unique, proprietary financing method for universities. Our execution capabilities were greatly enhanced when Morgan Stanley Principal Investments purchased a controlling interest in the Stadium Capital in May, 2007.
Please contact Stadium Capital if you would like to learn more about our Equity Seat Right product.

The following overview can be provided. Universities could receive upfront proceeds ranging from $50 million to over $500 million dollars without incurring debt or diluting their ownership. Proceeds can be used to create endowments, repay debt, build or renovate stadiums and can also be used to fund non-revenue sports programs. The process would provide the fan long-term protection from escalating season ticket prices, while guaranteeing long-term access to premium tickets.

The ESR process is "fan-friendly" and delivers significant benefits to both the fan and team:
  • Enables the university to raise significant capital while preserving economic and governing control
  • Total flexibility in use of proceeds - stadium expansion, repayment of debt obligations and endowment creation
  • Cements long-term relationship with alumni and corporate sponsors
  • Provides significant tax benefits to the university and alumni
  • Does not have to replace existing fundraising programs (can be incorporated with existing programs )
  • Minimizes the need for government/public financial support for stadium construction
  • Much better than a typical Personal Seat License program for both the fan and the university

During the past year Stadium Capital has developed an advanced proprietary ESR model that we believe is going to revolutionize the sports and stadium financing industry. We provide financial, accounting, regulatory, tax, unique execution capabilities and sales and marketing services for teams and stadiums implementing the ESR product
